Hello to our blogging friends
June 7th, 2008Welcome to John’s blog #1!
I am excited about this means of connecting with anyone who is interested in learning more about relationships, growth, marriage, parenting, dating, emotional issues or spiritual growth. Dr. Henry Cloud and I have been writing and speaking on these areas for many years, and I am looking forward to bringing new perspectives that can help make a difference for your life. It will also be fun to read your posts back, and to interact with you.
Hopefully, the material and thoughts will be interesting and helpful in the way you live life and relate to others today.
Blessings, and see you on the blog!

Waaw, what a great idea of you to start a blog!
I’ve learned a lot and I’ve even grown a little from doing that. So thank you for what you do and for letting God use you the way he does. That’s just great. I will be visiting this blog every now and then.
I live in Europe and discovered your work & books a few years ago. Been reading them ever since
See you around!

Dr. Townsend,
I’m so glad you’ve started a blog sight. I’m looking forword to participating in discussions on marriage, intimacy and relationships. I think your and Dr. Clouds work is revolutionary in bringing understanding of the result of the fall and how it effects our lives. Your books are so rich in wisdom ,truths and practical and often difficult applications that have changed my life and helped me through some pretty difficult times. Praise Him who is truly the author of it all.

Dr Townsend,
Thanks for continuing to share and communicate knowledge and insights which are so relevant to life, especially integrating God’s principals into how He designed us and how we can be so effected by things and not even realize it. I’m given hope that God desires to heal us where we’ve been injured, and doesn’t want to leave us in the isolated state we find ourselves in. I only wish it wasn’t such a long road through uncovering hidden wounds and healing through them. It can get discouraging and long, and I’ve barely begun this long road. Please keep this up.
