Consulting


The consultative relationship is project-oriented and situation-specific. Dr. Townsend works with the organization regarding its particular need, opportunity or issue to help it achieve the desired outcome or resolution. Some examples are:
- Resolving conflicts within key personnel
- Maximizing opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions
- Analyzing the roles and strengths of leaders in the organization in order to determine best fit
- Orienting the company toward its mission and values
- Helping the company adapt successfully to market and economic shifts
With the consultative structure, Dr. Townsend works with the principal company members who are involved. In forming the plan with them, he works on strategically utilizing the resources of the group, coordinates individual and team roles and responsibilities, and then helps its execution to a successful end.
