Nancy Houston

Nancy Houston is an LPC author, speaker, counselor, coach, and certified sex therapist. She is also a Director for the John Townsend Leadership Program in New York City and the Dallas Fort Worth area and an adjunct professor for the John Townsend Institute. She was on staff at Gateway Church as a Pastor for over five years, serving in the Marriage and Family Department and the Intimate Life Department. Nancy has been married to, Ron, the love of her life for over 41 years. Together they have four wonderful married sons and six adorable grandchildren.

She loves to help people grow into their full potential, empowering them to be truly alive. Nancy has impacted marriage relationships by developing and teaching Marriage Revolution (a workbook and DVD series) based on her work with other couples and biblical insights. She also teaches on topics ranging from relationships to healing and recovering your own soul.

Kristi Mallory

Kristi Mallory, vice president of Royal Mfg, a leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor of industrial lubricants and greases, has completed a year in the Townsend Leadership Program with plans to continue. Now a licensed team director, she is well trained and qualified to lead a TLP group.

Royal has been owned by the Mallory family since the 1950s, and Kristi is the third generation in her family to be active in the business. Over the years, she has been involved in every aspect of the business, including production, production planning, sales and marketing, accounting, and human resources. Her current role as vice president is devoted to building and developing the senior management team.

Kristi has also participated on several boards, has been a leader for several worship teams and small groups, and participated and been a leader in many community groups. She received the Presidential Volunteer Service award for over five hundred hours of community service, including activities at her children’s school and her church.

Kristi received her bachelor of business administration in marketing with a minor in management from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.

Jeff Carroll

Jeff Carroll was a high school Health Enhancement Instructor (34 years) and head volleyball coach (31 years) with Billings Public Schools He also developed a Personal Growth and Leadership Development class at Billings Senior High School, which he taught for a decade.

Currently, Jeff is an Executive Coach in Billings, Montana and leads two Townsend Leadership Program teams. He was a three-year member of the Dallas TLP team led by Dr. John Townsend and Elaine Morris. He was also an inaugural member of The Townsend Leadership Institute in 2015-2016 and received his Advanced Executive Coaching Credential in May of 2016.

Jeff was the Montana Coaches Association Volleyball Coach of the Year twelve times and was inducted into the Montana Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2009. He was selected as the National High School Athletic Coaches Association National Volleyball Coach of the Year in 2010 and the American Volleyball Coaches Association selected him as the National Co-Coach of the Year in 2011. He also serves with the AVCA on the Publications Committee, as well as, the National High School All-American committee. He was inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in June of 2015.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Physical Education and Health from Montana State University. He has regularly attended The Global Leadership Summit since 2002 and attended the Ultimate Leadership workshop in 2013 .

Passionate about education, Ginny also serves as an adjunct professor for the Townsend Institute at Concordia University where she teaches Organizational leadership and Executive Coaching.

Juliana Wilhelm, MA, LCPC is the founder and president of Capacity Leader Center and Cardia Counseling Center, where she has been providing effective counseling and coaching for more than 20 years. She is uniquely equipped to help leaders strengthen both their personal and professional lives.

Through the thousands of face-to-face hours of coaching and counseling with high capacity leaders in both the public and private sector, she has first-hand knowledge of the type of impact created when leaders are equipped with emotional intelligence skills and strengthened in their personal character competencies. Dave Rider

Dave Rider, a leadership coach in private practice outside Chicago, Illinois, completed two years in the Townsend Leadership Program. Now a licensed team director, he is well trained and qualified to lead a TLP group.

Dave’s practice is based on his twenty-five years of hands-on leadership experience and established track record in leadership development and operational excellence. He provides a customized integrated approach to every engagement, partnering with leaders to improve their personal and professional performance.

By integrating his strong problem solving analytical abilities with his interpersonal skills, Dave provides insight and guidance from a unique vantage point. He is known for his ability to translate strategy into tactics and dissect large systemic problems. Dave is also a certified professional coach, trained in numerous coaching models, and certified to administer many personality and leadership assessment tools.

Dr. Karen Bergstrom

Dr. Karen Bergstrom, is a passionate and long-established thought leader. She optimizes her over thirty years of experience as an executive in nonprofit agencies and enjoys her role as a leadership coach. In the past decade, she helped develop, launch, and currently co-leads Safe Families for Children (SFFC), which received the Peter F Drucker Non-Profit Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Her most important role is co-parenting her four adult children with her husband Rick.

Karen successfully completed the Townsend Leadership Program and the credentialing process to lead the TLP. Now a licensed team director, she is well trained and qualified to lead a TLP group. Karen is also a therapist in private practice who specializes in working with adolescents, families, and women.

Karen received her bachelor of science in human services from California State Fullerton (1979) and her doctorate in psychology from California Graduate Institute in Westwood, California (1993).

Leah Nelson

Leah Nelson is an experienced leader with over 22 years of leadership experience in the military and business sectors. She loves helping people grow and design their lives with excellence, progress and results. She specializes in helping both men and women execute plans and get results at a higher level.

Leah completed her undergraduate studies at the United States Naval Academy. She served for 13 years in the military, where she was a Helicopter Pilot and a Leadership Facilitator. Following military service, she has spent the last 19 years as a small business owner working in sales and marketing, recruiting, coaching, leadership training and small business development. She received her Masters of Organizational Leadership thru the Townsend Institute at Huntington University.

Leah is passionate about the Townsend Leadership Program. As a TLP Director trained by Dr. John Townsend, she is excited to help others experience results and growth in their lives at a higher level than ever before. As a past member of TLP herself, she has personally experienced both personal and professional growth.

Travis Frye

Travis E. Frye, LPC, LMFT, is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Crossroads Counseling, a private group practice with an office in Phoenix, Arizona. Travis specializes in marriage counseling, men’s counseling/coaching, leadership, and personal growth development. As a TLP Director trained by Dr. John Townsend, he is excited to help others experience transformation in their lives.

Travis is deeply passionate about the Townsend Leadership Program. As a past member of TLP, he experienced firsthand tremendous personal and professional growth.
